Hello there

I wish to make a computer program that uses heart rate as input.

I am in possession of a MIO SLICE heart rate watch

https://www.mioglobal.com/en-us/Mio-SLICE-heart-rate-fitness-tracker/Product.aspx

Now as I understand a normal desktop cannot recieve the signal from the MIO SLICE and I will need a ant+ dongle, I have been looking at this one
https://www.loebeshop.dk/garmin-usb-ant-stick.html

Now my question is: is my MIO SLICE compatible with the ant+ usb dongle? Will I be able to recieve heart rate data on my computer from the watch to the usb dongle?

Many thanks in advance smile

Hi Haxxar,

The Mio Slice is not currently ANT+ certified, so I cannot speak to it's compatibility, but if a device transmits ANT+ Heart Rate, and you have installed or developed a program that interfaces with the ANT PC SDK, and have implemented the receive side of the ANT+ Heart Rate profile, you should be able to see heart rate data from your watch on your PC.
