good day. I want to buy D52QGFM8IA to make a bicycle simulator, I do not know if I should load a library in it, or if it is already ready to use through an external microcontroller like arduino. ?

and Where can I buy this model or a D52DX2 starter kit with Fit.?

Help please.

I think you may have a typo in your part number. See part numbers at https://www.thisisant.com/developer/components/gfit/#872_tab for gfit. You are interested in D52MGFM8IA? This module is available through distributors. See RUTRONIK https://www.rutronik24.com/search-result/qs:D52MGFM8IA/reset:0

The D52DK2 is available from many distributors. https://www.rutronik24.com/search-result/qs:D52DK2/reset:0 https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/garmin-canada-inc/D52DK2/7388580.

You can load the GFIT library from https://www.thisisant.com/developer/components/software-libraries#tab_protocol_stacks_tab onto the D52QSKM6IA-A supplied with the D52DK2.

The cost of the D52DK2 kit is too high to start. $ 272 euros.

I want to know if I only buy D52MGFM81A only, can I make the application I want?

Can I connect a micro as arduino through spi with D52MGFM81A to be able to communicate with Zwift or Bkool?

Or maybe I did not understand well?

You can purchase D52MGFM8IA individually from sources such as https://www.rutronik24.com/search-result/qs:D52MGFM8IA/reset:0 It wi.ll be pre-loaded with software that supports the creation of a bike trainer similar to those at https://tacx.com/smart-bike-trainers/.

The module can be controlled by Zwift or Bkool.

Section 7.3.10 shows you how to set the module up as "25 - Trainer / Indoor Bike". 7.3.11 shows how to set the data broadcast from the trainer with Table 7-27 showing the data relevant to bike trainers. Sections 7.5.3 through 7.5.5 describe the events you will get when Zwift or Bkool controls the trainer.
