Hi Great support team:

I'd like to know if nrf24ap2-1CH could be adopted as a main light of Bike light profile?

Because it's described in the bike light profile, section 5.2 that main light should open a shared channel for communicating with secondary lights in network while maintaining broadcast channel to communicate with controller (please refer attachment, what i got from the pic is that nrf24ap2 must maintain 2 channel #A/#B in the same time to forming the network ). So does it mean that we could not use 24ap2-1ch in this case due to insufficient channel numbers?

Jack

Could nRF24AP2-1CH be a main light of Bike Light

It is important to note that it is not necessary to use different RF frequencies to support multiple coexisting channels. The
TDMA nature of the ANT system means that a large number of channels can coexist on a single common RF frequency. It is
the product developer’s responsibility to ensure that RF frequencies used will comply with the regulations of all regions of
the world in which this equipment is to be used.

All lights in the network are required to maintain two simultaneous channels.

Main light: broadcast master, shared master
Secondary: broadcast master, shared slave

Therefore, the nRF24AP2-1CH is not suitable for a light.
