Hi,
I am planning a remote control product based on the Audio Controls Profile.

I read the profile and have a few questions but I am not sure where to raise them... I'll try here anyway, forgive me if I am wrong.

Regarding the document itself, the "ANT Device Profile Audio Controls": Section 10 is mentionned several times but does not exist. Should it read 11?

Please confirm my understanding: only the Remote Control device uses acknowledged data transfer to transmit the "command data page". All other transmissions, from the Audio device to the remote (from master to slave) utilize broadcast transfer.

Last point, related to the very basics of the protocol... I understood that only the master could broadcast information on its type, manufacturer and serial number (the common pages 80 and 81). I did not find any place/page for the slave to send these information, apart from an optional serial number field. Should I understand that for a remote device, the manufacturer and product ids are not necessary?

Thank you for bringin our attention to that typo. The two references to "section 10" on minimum compliance should actually reference section 12. We will make the correction in the next release.

Yes, the remote is the only device sending acknowledged messages. All messages from the audio device are broadcast messages.

Yes, currently the common data pages go from the audio device to remote only.
