I'm planning to buy a Android 3.x tablet sometime in the coming year, but want it to support ANT+.

I am guessing this at least partially a hardware issue bco the add-on that is needed for an iPod to run ANT+ apps. What about OS?

I have only seen one Android tab that explicitly claims ANT+ support: Sony Ericsson Xperia.

Are there others?      

ANT support on Android devices is dependent on hardware.
