nRF24AP2 rev D sleep mode

What is the recommended procedure to go into low power consumption for the nrf24ap2-8CH rev B and D when using Synchronous Serial Input (SPI).

Looking through the ANT documentation it says that ANT will automatically place itself into deep sleep mode when all radio channels are closed and there is no activity on the SMSGRDY input signal. Please validate that that is what should be done.

We are successful in putting rev B to sleep but not able to do the same with rev D.

There is no deep sleep mode in rev D. As the same work sequence on the low power, both rev of AP2 can work on sleep mode.

Once an ANT channel has been opened, ANT can only operate in one of two states: ACTIVE and SLEEP.
ANT will transition to the SLEEP state any time it is waiting for an SRDY pulse from the host MCU.
In rev D, the AP2 can be entered to deep sleep mode by sending DEEP SLEEP command if the synchronous message protocol is implement properly.

There is an AP2 errata on our website http://www.thisisant.com/images/Resources/PDF/ap2_rf_transceiver_module_errata.pdf
which shows the known issues on these two revs.

Thanks for the quick response!

We are successful in putting both rev B and D to sleep.

The wrong code version was used by the host to control the radio and when the correct version was used the issues was solved.
