Hi,

As mentioned on the subject heading, is it possible to make an ANT node as a master for an auto shared channel?

I'm trying to implement an ANT node with AT3 module and Arduino Uno (http://www.freetronics.com/products/eleven) board.

At the moment, I'm configured the AT3 module in SensRcore mode, to setup channel etc...

Then, the IO pins of the AT3 module is connected to the IO pin of the Arduino board the perform an application.

However, I'm intend to configure the AT3 module as a Master of an Auto Shared Channel, so that it can choose the ANT node (might keep changing) that it want to communicate with. Is it possible to do that way?

My idea at the moment is keep changing the shared address message of the broadcast message (marked as 'X'):
XX-XX-40-00-00-00-00-FF-FF
Yet, is there anyway to change the value marked as 'X' in above broadcast message when AT3 is operating at the sensRcore mode?

Hello,

Please refer to the forum post below:

You will need to change the first 2 bytes of the address. This change of address is outlined in the Auto-Shared Channel Application Note and can be found at the link below:

However, you cannot change the shared address while in SensRcore mode. You will need to create your own embedded application in order to do this.

Cheers,
