I want to track outside activity using Mio fuse. Basically I want to get information such as steps heart rate and sent it either to a pc or to a mobile. I understand that when using ANT+ stick I am able to communicate with my pc real time. What happened when I am offline for outdoor activities. Is there a way to send those data to a mobile? Or as a second case, can I fetch all those data of outdoor activity when I am back close to a ANT+ device?

Hi Christos,

I checked our product directory and the Mio Fuse is only certified as transmitting ANT+ Heart Rate, so either there is no way to get steps from the Mio Fuse, or Mio have a proprietary method defined. However, for heart rate data, you are correct that you could recieve this on a mobile phone (or use a compatible sports watch etc.)

Compatible products are listed here: http://www.thisisant.com/directory/mio-fuse/

And a list of certified apps is here: http://www.thisisant.com/directory/filter/~/118|265|115|116/~/~/ Choose one listed as supporting heart rate that works with your phone.

Depending on whether your phone has native ANT support you may also need an ANT stick for your phone. If you need more with this topic, your answer is probably here: http://www.thisisant.com/developer/resources/tech-faq/category/149/

Hope that helps,

Kat
