D52QD2M4IA reading “infinite” HRM sensors

Hi,

I have a question: could D52QD2M4IA read virtual infinite HRM sensors at the same time? Using something like continuous scanning or background searching? Can I read raw data from the network and pass they to a Host connected via UART?

Hi,

Nothing is really "infinite", but you should be able to receive transmissions from up around to 75 HRM's, as ANT timeslots are based on 3ms spacing. Your best bet would be continuous scanning, followed by background scanning with high duty search mode enabled.

Yes, the D52Q can act as a "network processor", where a host controller controls the device and receives messages over UART.

O good news.

I am reading ANT Message Protocol and Usage 5.1 document but when I send the command message from host to D52QD2M4IA via UART channel I receive unexpected response...
for example:
