In section 11 of D00001086_ANT+_Device_Profile_-_Bicycle_Power_Rev_5.0.pdf it has a note

NOTE: If the wheel or crank is revolving at less than 240RPM (4Hz), multiple messages may arrive that describe the same event.

Is this advice to ignore messages that describe the same event? Is computing a value from these repeat events going to lead to incorrect averages/data over time?
