ANT+ dongle connection failure with Android smartphone

We are currently developing new app for Android devices and have following issue:

1. With a ANT+ hardware pre-equipped smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A6+, Android 8.0.0., ANT Radio Service and ANT+ Plugins Service correctly installed and operational) our app works perfectly. Seamless connection with cadence sensor.

2. With a non ANT+ hardware pre-equipped smartphone (Huawei P10 Lite, Android 8.0.0., Ant Radio Service, ANT+ Plugins and ANT USB Service correctly installed), and making use of a small USB2 ANT+ Dongle combined with a USBA to micro USB Adapter (OTG) it currently doesn't work. We receive the 'RequestAccess failed. See logcat for details' message when trying to connect with the cadence sensor.

Is there anyone who knows how to solve this in order to make it work on (recent types of) Android smartphones that do not have yet the ANT+ hardware on board? Thanks in advance for your swift help.

Best regards,
