transmission problem

Hi,

I'm using the ANTAP2DK1 dev kit. I'm trying to exchange data between two ANT 11TS33M5IB chip. One is drived by a custom driver the other one is managed by ANTWareII.

Here is commands I send with my customized driver:

I'm looking with a logic analyzer communication between my driver and the chip, there is no problem. Nevertheless nothing is receive by the slave chip.

Your setup commands appear to be correct. Are you certain that your device is transmitting? Are you getting EVENT_TX messages?

The other thing to check is that you are setting up ANTWARE to the same settings as your device (network key 00, channel id 256, device type 31, tx type 0, message period to 8192, RF freq 66).

Hi,

I've try with an other chip and there is no problem, I can send and receive data. Is it possible that the chip send me correct response but that the RF part is dead? Is there a way to test it?

I assume when you say "chip" that you mean the entire AP2 module (small PCB ). If that is the case, then you can use 2 USB boards and run ANTWARE, using one device as the master and one as the slave to see if you can establish communication. First use two known good devices, then swap in your suspect device with the same settings.

That is probably the easiest way to tell you whether the device is good or not. You could also use RF measurement tools to find the actual RF.
