My Story:

Running with data has changed the way I workout.  Even if I’m just out for a fun run, I wear my watch with ANT+. The immediate feedback I am able to receive at any moment is both interesting to know and particularly beneficial for training. 

I remember the first time I used my ANT+ enabled watch; when I went home to upload the data, I was amazed at how easy it was to analyze every moment of my run. I had data showing how my heart raced as I did hill climbs and speed work, and I could compare my pace over specific segments and track progress over several weeks. From that moment I was sold!

The knowledge I have gained from the data has empowered me to focus my training routines and set training goals. Now, I never train without my ANT+ device and I have become reliant on the ability to train in specific heart rate zones and run at a defined pace which helps to improve my speed and endurance. Through the collection of this information, I have a tangible record of my training activities together with useful data that helps me achieve (and beat) my personal bests.

For the first time, I feel like I have control and understanding over my body, and the information I need to make my training count. For someone whose time, especially time spent training, is very precious, the data ANT+ produces has been an invaluable tool to maximize my efficiency. I can’t imagine training without it.


Sports have always been an integral part of Angela’s life. As an avid runner, this particular sport has consistently woven itself into her various adventures. From triathlons, duathlons, adventure racing, half-marathons and trail running, Angela does it all! The sport of running has evolved over the years for Angela as her focus shifted from running for orienteering, adventure racing and duathalons to running for the love of the sport and the challenge it offers. Angela has run several half-marathons, 10km and 5km events. About three years ago, she discovered trail running and now runs her local trails, almost daily, with her dog ‘Tempo’. 

Angela is also an avid cyclist competing in road, mountain and cyclo-cross races. By day, she keeps busy as a corporate lawyer, and donates her time to several charities raising money for various causes. She is also a member of a group of like-minded cyclists having fun promoting philanthropy, the value of cycling, and an active healthy lifestyle. Outside of sport, Angela loves to cook, travel and spend time with friends and family.


  • Compete in trail running races and beat personal best times
  • Compete in a half-marathon trail running race
  • Build up Tempo’s speed and endurance (by measuring my own) so that we can spend more time training together
