What type of packet loss is normal?

I'm just getting started with ANT+. I'm successfully getting heart rate data from a Garmin heart rate strap, but I'm losing between 5% and 10% of packets with the error EVENT_RX_FAIL.

This isn't a big deal for heart rate, but I'm wondering, is this about normal? The error rate does seem better when I have one slave rather than two.

Any other tips for reducing error rate?

I'm getting even higher rates of losses and strongly assume that this is normal for receiving from two (Garmin) heart rate straps.
I'm experiencing much less losses from Garmin GSC10, PowerTap power sensor, Tanita BSC1000, but the HRMs seem to send with quite low signal strength or have other problems that cause this.

that would be normal for an HRM... there may some loss due to body absorption... the profile is designed to work despite lost packets...
