Hi all,

I'm trying to toggle the RTS/SEN PIN via a microcontroller digital output and am not having luck in doing so. I've temporarily connected the pin directly to a 1MOhm resistor connected to vbus and that seems to work.

Otherwise, connecting a digital io pin directly to the RTS/SEN pin and through a 1MOhm series resistor do not seem to work. The MCU is a atmega 328 if that helps. Any ideas what the issue is here?

Hi kania,

ANT, or in this case the AP2, controls the RTS/SEN PIN and not the other way around. In this case ANT acts as the serial master and not as the serial slave. This is described in the "Interfacing with ANT General Purpose Chipsets and Modules" document.
