How do I parse the data from the Micoach Speed Cell with the Ant+ Simulator?

Hi cerebros,

Using SimulANT+, run an ANT+ Stride-based Speed and Distance Display device. When you turn it on, it should connect to the Micoach and display your speed information.

I tried to connect to speed_cell through ANTFS HOST .. Went through already all possible parameters. After clicking Search, begins the endless search for the device ..
What am I doing wrong?

Hi evgenyonegin, You need to use SimulANT+ and not ANTFS HOST to receive broadcast ANT+ Foot Speed data from the speed_cell.

Yes.. Its work. But how i can download saved fit files?

Hi evgenyonegin, the method of downloading FIT files from the speed_cell is manufacturer specific. Please contact the manufacturer directly to obtain the ANTFS Host configurations required to download FIT files from the speed_cell.

If I press the 'TurnOn' Button, the output says:

4285004 : Searching for master device...
4314457 : Search timeout!
4314457 : Channel closed

The MiCoach has a fresh battery and is 1cm away from the USB-Dongle.
Do I have to edit some properties of the Display-Profile?

So, the speed_cell stores its data in a FIT file (Filesystem: ANTFS) on itself?

Hi ingenbox,

SimulANT+ will only help you connect to and see live data transmission from the micoach. To transfer FIT files, you'll need to ask the manufacturers of miCoach the ANT-FS parameters they use to make the transfer, and use those same parameters on the ANT-FS Host tool.

thanks for your reply.
But I can't even connect from SimulANT+ to the micoach. Or do I need to know some properties like used channels (that are maybe static?) from the manufacturer?
Second question: If I'm able to receive live data through SimulANT+, than I can simply capture and save it?

Hi Ingeniox,

Have you tried pairing your miCoach to a standard display device such as a watch? Does that work?

Yes, if you can receive data on SimulANT+, you can log the messages to a file, or use a script to parse it into a FIT file if desired.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I tried other display profiles in SimulANT+, but still the same search timeout as previously mentioned.
The software (miCoach Manager), Adidas provided for connecting and synchronizing the micoach with a computer, recognizes the speed_cell.

You cannot get the Micoach to a SimulANT+ SPD or STP display?
