Hi everyone,

I am a newbie and need a little help.

I have a HRM that sends the heart rate and its working properly. What I want to do for testing purposes is to send the raw data I get from the sensor to the receiver. Using the HRM profile, I can't do it as it specifies the page format and what to send in those formats. Can I use burst mode along with the HRM profile?

I am getting the heart data every 10 ms. Please help me how it can be done. Thanks.

Hi Hassoo,

One option that would allow you to send whatever data you want for testing would be to:

1. Use the public network key
2. Decide on your channel period and what messages you want to send
3. Use ANTwareII to configure a receiver (you will also need an ANT USB stick) to recieve all your packets.

This is the most flexible approach and therefore probably the one you'd want to use for testing. If you need help figuring how to do all these steps then I would take a look at the ANT Basics section of our website (http://www.thisisant.com/developer/ant/starting-your-project/). You can find ANTwareII, the ANTwareII manual and links to the network keys on the downloads page (http://www.thisisant.com/developer/resources/downloads/).

The ANT+ Heart Rate Device Profile does not include a mechanism for sending manufacturer specific pages from the HRM at this stage.

Best regards,

Kat
